about us
The North Dakota Coalition for Homeless People, Inc. (NDCHP), is a non-profit organization, formed in 1989 to work on the concerns of rural and urban homelessness that impacts communities in North Dakota. Since its inception, NDCHP has been engaged in the work of advocacy, education, data collection, and resource development. NDCHP's broad-based membership of diverse agencies include Human Service Centers, community action agencies, domestic violence agencies, homeless service agencies and emergency shelters, mental health and substance abuse agencies, disability service organizations, public housing authorities, housing development organizations, funding providers, faith-based and other community-based organizations, state and local government agencies, and other non-profit service providers. Through the collaboration of its member agencies, and other stakeholders, the NDCHP develops a better quality of life in North Dakota for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and works toward the vision of ending long-term homelessness.
